Laura Sampedro was born and grew up in London and from a very young age her European and African origins give her a wealth of cultures, sounds, colours and languages: English, Italian and Spanish.

After her many travels throughout the world, she settles in Rome, Italy in 1998 and has her first theatrical experiences where she discovers her passion for acting. Since 2003 she has trained in various schools with different teachers and directors. She starts to collaborate in social theatre working with inmates in prisons, people with mental disabilities and political refugees.
